What works & limitations
- Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud streaming, requires Game Pass Ultimate subscription, $17.99/month) — streams Fortnite at up to 1080p/60fps over Wi-Fi; the A13 Bionic handles the decoding efficiently
- GeForce NOW streaming (free tier available, paid Tier 2 at $9.99/month for better frame priority) — streams at up to 60fps on Wi-Fi
- EU App Store direct install via Epic Games Store (available since March 2024 for users with EU Apple IDs) — A13 Bionic delivers medium-high native performance when playing the native EU version
- Native US App Store download unavailable since August 2020
- Sideloading via AltStore or similar tools violates Apple's ToS on non-jailbroken devices
- A13 Bionic (TSMC 7nm, 2× Lightning + 4× Thunder cores, A13 GPU) was Apple's flagship chip when Fortnite was removed; had the ban not occurred, iPhone 11 would be in the upper tier of iOS Fortnite performance in 2020–2021
