- Compatible with Ecobee SmartThermostat, SmartThermostat Enhanced, and SmartThermostat Premium
- Appears on Nest Hub display as a controllable device alongside other Google Home accessories
- Ecobee Follow Me — room sensor occupancy-based temperature adjustment — is not accessible via Google Home
- Ecobee SmartSensor readings and occupancy data do not feed into Google Home automations
- Ecobee vacation holds and advanced schedule features must be configured in the Ecobee app
- Google Home cannot surface Ecobee humidity readings or filter maintenance alerts
- Link the Ecobee account in Google Home: open the app > Devices > Add Device > Works with Google > Ecobee; the thermostat appears automatically under the Climate category after authorization
