What works & limitations
- The 200W panel charges the 12V battery bank via a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 controller wired between panel and battery — MPPT 100/30 input accepts up to 100V Voc and 30A charge current
- A 200W monocrystalline panel at STC has a Voc of approximately 22–25V and Isc of approximately 9–11A — both well within the MPPT 100/30's limits (100V Voc max, 30A Isc max)
- MultiPlus-II 3000 draws from the 12V battery bank and inverts to 230V AC at up to 2400W continuous — solar energy flows: panel → MPPT controller → 12V battery → MultiPlus-II → AC loads
- Victron VE.Smart Networking connects the MPPT controller and MultiPlus-II via Bluetooth mesh — temperature-compensated charging voltage (adjusts based on battery temperature sensor), synchronized state-of-charge between devices
- Victron Cerbo GX (RB300CGXR12) provides a single web and touchscreen dashboard showing solar input wattage, battery voltage and current, AC load wattage, and grid status in real time via the VRM portal
