Does Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni work with Amazon Alexa?

What works & limitations

• "Alexa, tell Ecovacs to start cleaning" — begins a full-home vacuum and mop session using the most recently active cleaning mode in the Ecovacs Home App
• "Alexa, tell Ecovacs to stop" or "Alexa, tell Ecovacs to go home" — pauses in place or returns to the OMNI Station respectively; "Alexa, tell Ecovacs to pause" pauses in place
• "Alexa, tell Ecovacs to clean the bedroom" — triggers room-specific cleaning when the bedroom is named in the Ecovacs Home App TrueMapping 2.0 map and the account is linked; room names must match exactly (case-insensitive) to the names in the Ecovacs app
• Ecovacs Alexa skill available in US, UK, Germany, France, Australia, and Japan Alexa stores — check the Alexa skill page at amazon.com/skills/ecovacs for current regional availability
• Alexa routine integration: add "Tell Ecovacs to start cleaning" as an action in any Alexa routine — triggered by schedule, Alexa Guard Away mode, Ring doorbell, or any other Alexa-compatible trigger
• "Alexa, ask Ecovacs what it's doing" returns current state — cleaning, docked, paused, or returning to dock; useful for checking progress from another room
• "Alexa, tell Ecovacs to start mopping only" does not work — mop-only mode is not exposed through the Alexa integration; mop-only cleaning requires the Ecovacs Home App or the physical button sequence on the robot
• OMNI Station management (mop wash temperature, dirty water status, clean water refill alerts) is not accessible via Alexa — requires the Ecovacs Home App
• No-go zone editing, map management, and suction power adjustment are not available via voice command — all map and configuration changes require the Ecovacs Home App

• Room-specific voice commands require room names to be saved in the Ecovacs Home App TrueMapping 2.0 map before skill linking — if rooms are renamed in the Ecovacs app after the skill is linked, say "Alexa, discover devices" to resync room names; the sync takes approximately 30 seconds
• Ecovacs Alexa skill version updates are managed by Ecovacs — if voice commands stop working after an Ecovacs app update, the standard fix is to disable the Ecovacs skill in the Alexa app and re-enable it (relinking the account); this resolves OAuth token expiration issues that occasionally occur after Ecovacs account password changes
• Amazon Echo Show devices (Echo Show 8, Echo Show 10, Echo Show 15) display a cleaning status tile for the Deebot T20 Omni in the Smart Home dashboard — tap the tile to see current state and initiate start/stop commands via the touchscreen; live video from the T20 Omni's onboard camera does not stream to Echo Show displays in the current integration version
