Does Roomba j7+ work with iRobot Home App?

What works & limitations

• Full Imprint Smart Mapping: create and save up to 10 floor maps per account, name individual rooms (Kitchen, Master Bedroom, etc.), and direct the j7+ to clean specific rooms on demand via a tap in the app
• Smart Recommendations: iRobot analyzes the last 30 days of cleaning history and suggests schedule adjustments — e.g., recommending a midweek extra clean in high-traffic areas based on dirt sensor data
• Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal control: schedule bag-emptying frequency (after every clean vs. only when full), monitor bag fill level as a percentage, receive push notifications when the bag requires replacement (approximately every 60 cleaning sessions)
• Object avoidance settings: configure PrecisionVision sensitivity level — the j7+'s camera distinguishes between pet waste, electrical cords, socks, shoes, and other common obstacles; sensitivity can be set to Avoid All, Avoid Specific, or Mark and Proceed
• Cleaning history with map overlay: each completed session shows a color-coded coverage map, total duration, total area cleaned (in sq ft), number of dirt events detected by the Dirt Detect sensor, and a log of objects avoided
• Alexa and Google Assistant integration configurable in-app under Settings > Smart Home — voice commands enable full-home start, stop, dock, and room-specific cleaning after room names are confirmed in the skill setup
